After the recent Uri attacks in India by cross border terrorist, mumbai is on a high alert. 2 School children noticed heavily armed people in black pathanis speaking a foreign language near the navy quarters in Navi Mumbai area. The police along with military issued a high alert for mumbai and almost every corner of Mumbai is on vigil by the authorities for any suspicious activities. Schools and college have given holidays to the children until the issue is neutralised and the Mumbai Police gives a clean chit.

- Dont touch unknown objects: this is no rocket science but avoid any unknown objects, bags etc and report to the authorities immeditately
- dont venture into crowed areas unless necessary: Unfortunate incidents are always targeted by terrorist in crowded public areas so unless its not very important always stay away.
- Respond to suspicious activity: if you notice any thing suspicious or any ones suspicious moments be alert and inform the authorities, after all you can save life of so many people.
- Keep basic food stuff well stocked: keep you daily food stuff well stocked at least for a few days or the weekend since Mumbai is on high alert and the authorities would take about 1-3 days to neutralise the situation
- keep your near and dear ones informed: keep family members informed when you go out, also keep gps tracking on, on your phone and make sure you have a last number dialled of your family members so its easy for you to connect if there is a situation arising.
- Avoid stranger: strangers pose a big threat in situations like this, so avoid helping anyone with by carrying bags, or helping them cross a crowded street or walking by the road and most definitely never share your mobile with anyone who wants to make a phone call.
