Demonetization, Why we won’t accept 500 & 1000
On November 8 2016 Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Demonetization Rs 500 – Rs 1000 notes were no longer going to be a legal currency to use for trade or any purpose of transactions in INDIA. This was announced in order to fight the growing menace of corruption, black or unaccounted money & to take into account across border fake currency issue. In simple terms the ruling government of INDIA, passed the Demonatization of Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 notes.
Why we won’t accept 500 – 1000 RS.
Lot of our existing patrons at AD SINGH have been enquiring on why cant we accept the 500-1000 rupees denomination notes as tender towards the sale of new garments or payments adjustments towards the balance of the older orders. The answer to this is simple. As per the directive of the RBI the rupee 500 and rupee 1000 currency notes cannot and should not be used for any transaction, in any form post mid night of NOVEMBER 8 2016. We are clearly following the directive of the RBI.
At AD SINGH couture we are more than happy to accept the new currency notes of 2000 Rs. & even the currency notes in other denominations as directed by the RBI. Our client can choose from paying via any form of credit or debit card as well to make payments towards the order.
Why Demonetization help?
Demonetization will curb all fake currency rackets, black money hoarding and illegal money squatters. This will be beneficial for the economy and the country and ultimately this benefit will be passed on to all citizens of INDIA. Keeping the above in mind we strongly support the move by the the Hon. Prime Minister of INDIA Mr. Narendra Modi on DEMONETIZATION OF 500 & 1000 Rs. currency notes in INDIA
