The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) event saw ten fashion designers reinvent fashion with modern thinking at the ICW 2019. Despite the omission of renowned designers Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra and so on, newer designers were given the chance to showcase their craftsmanship. In particular, Nidhi and Pankaj debuted their first couture line at the event. Also, Tarun Tahiliani, Amit Aggarwal and Suneet Varma offered a new perspective. Malaika Arora: Malaika Arora donned an extravagant cultural design by designer Sulakshana Monga. The green ensemble is a three-piece showstopper. With a fully beaded blouse, the attention to detail is elaborate. This is paired with a two-toned skirt in the same detailing as the top. However, the design is more subdued. Also, the elaborate tail creates a sense of poise and elegance for the wearer. This is matched with a flowing dupatta. Malaika Arora was seen pairing this attire with an effortless low bun and delicate diamond necklace.

Kiara Advani: Advani walked the ramp at the inaugural ICW 2019 show. For the unversed, she was the showstopper for the popular designer Amit Aggarwal. The stunner looked absolutely mesmerizing in a deep red embellished ensemble. Her look included a red sequin short choli blouse with a deep plunging V neckline. She teamed it up with a high waisted matching lehenga with textured sequin running all over it. Advani styled her look with a complimenting sheer dupatta which sat elegantly around her arms. Kiara styled her look with a sleek low hair bun with a heavy jadau emerald jewellery, filled in brows, light smokey eyes and a nude lips rounded off this gorgeous look.

Sara Ali Khan: Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan made her royal debut on the ramp as she turned showstopper for designer-duo Falguni and Shane Peacock at the FDCI India Couture Week 2019. The actor looked elegant and flamboyant at the same time as she walked the ramp with confidence for the designers, who were presenting their collection titled Bonjour Amer at the ongoing fashion week in Delhi.

Kriti Sanon: Kriti Sanon displayed a stunning creation from designer duo Shyamal and Bhumika to close the India Couture Week show. This beautiful lehenga was from their latest collection, which was evidently inspired by the Renaissance period.The outfit comprises of a blouse, skirt and dupatta. The one-shoulder blouse was created with sequenced detailing and a bouffant sleeve.
